Having been alive on this planet for many decades, it has become very clear to me that my human brain and the brains of other humans with whom I coexist on this planet are unable to perceive the true nature of time.
Here is the best analogy that explains what I mean:
Pretend, for a moment, that you and I are standing near the tracks of a super-fast train, and we see it coming. It comes running at 1000 miles an hour, but our brains see it moving in slow motion. You and I move at the speed at which we see the train moving, not at the speed at which the train is passing. And that’s my conclusion about our ability to perceive the passage of time.
